What is the best hotel on the ocean near San Diego/La Jolla? - la jolla bed and breakfast
I want to spend a night in a hotel to enjoy the ocean, somewhere in the vicinity of San Diego and La Jolla. I'm by myself and you want to go to the beach, sit and watch the water, and probably some things spa. Somewhere absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Whatever the price, I want the best situation. Where do I go? Thank you!

The Lodge at Torrey Pines could be just what you are looking for. At Torrey Pines, which is the northern part of La Jolla.
Thus, there is north of The Inn Resort and Spa. Is in Del Mar, but only on the line from Torrey Pines / San Diego.
They are both on the beach and resorts. This part of the Torrey Pines / Del Mar Beach is very nice and quiet.
2 of my main options are Hotel Del Coronado on Coronado Iceland .... extensive resource in an area much wider range in the luxury Coronado Pacific Terrace ..... a small hotel in the town on the beach in Pacific Beach relaxed.

The Grand Del Mar is beautiful! Here is a good place to find a good list of places in La Jolla, then call to see what they offer trips to see sights, etc., whatever you want! Have a great time!
