Ok, so I want to hack my Wii and use of homebrew hacks. But I wonder what I can burn ICD and thus hombrew hack work, because I want the record to the SD card. I have also asked to work on my Wii SD card for the hack available?

Do not try to hack your Wii, there is a risk that any changes that are not undone can afford.
Yes USBS and DVDs will work on homebrew. Wad should be booted from the SD card, if (as in "War Games" Super Mario)
... and then the above is wrong - you can always return to normal if you have installed BootMii ...
